Submit your data to the EACTS ACD
The EACTS ACD consists of surgical interventions and enables surgical teams from participating cardiac hospitals to recognise the data and outcomes from their own hospital, and draw comparable data analysis with other hospitals and countries.
Centres and national registries are encouraged to join and submit data and benefit from using the EACTS ACD’s interactive tools to analyse cardiac surgical data and continually improve patient outcomes.
Are you participating in the EACTS Adult Cardiac Database?
I am from a hospital who is participating in the EACTS ACD, how do I login?
Congratulations, your centre can access the EACTS ACD. If you have been assigned a licence by your hospital, please click Login and follow the instructions. If you have not received a licence, please contact your Chief Surgeon. Alternatively, if your hospital is participating and you are an EACTS member, you can access the platform via your EACTS membership account (this will give you Level 1 access only). Please contact your Chief Surgeon to give you Level 2 access to compare your hospital’s data.
I am from a hospital or a national registry who is not yet participating in the EACTS ACD, how do we join?
You can still access the EACTS ACD if you are an EACTS Member to see a general view (Level 1) of the data. If you are interested in comparing your hospital’s data in the platform, please refer your hospital to the QUIP team to advise on how to join. You can find out more about the ACD Charter and how to register via the link.
We believe the EACTS ACD will be the leading European database collecting cardiac data from around the world. More than a repository of data, the database is a powerful instrument for benchmarking and research. The EACTS ACD holds huge potential to identify areas of improvement in clinical practice, drive innovation and ultimately improve patient outcomes.”
