Vincent (Wentao) Fang is the chief thoracic surgeon at the Shanghai Chest Hospital, Jiaotong University Medical School in Shanghai, China. He routinely performs open and minimally-invasive surgery including VATS and robotics for pulmonary, mediastinal and esophageal diseases. His research focuses on thoracic malignancies, including lung cancers, thymic tumors, and esophageal cancers. He is currently a Steering Committee member of the IASLC SPFC, Thoracic Domain member of the ASCVTS, Chairman of the Mediastinal Tumor committee and Vice Chairman of the Esophageal Cancer committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.
