Dr. Dörr is a thoracic surgery resident at the Essen University Hospital. He completed a fellowship at the ‘Reinhard Lab’ studying new therapeutic options for SCLC and won the 2018 research award of the German Thoracic Society. Currently he is investigating new prognostic factors for NSCLC and developing a system to predict pulmonary malignancy. Being a member of the EACTS thoracic domain and the Residents Committee, Dr. Dörr focuses on achieving synergistic effects for young thoracic surgeons, especially in education.
