Umit Kervan

Umit Kervan graduated in 2001 as a medical doctor at the Trakya University. He graduated as a cardiovascular surgeon in 2007. After finishing his residency in cardiac surgery, Umit completed his training focused on heart-lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support therapy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Currently, he is the Head of the Department of Heart Transplantation and MCS at the Health Sciences University, Ankara City Hospital and director of education cardiovascular surgery department. His areas of interest are heart transplantation, minimally invasive LVAD surgery, BIVAD, pediatric mechanical circulatory support therapy, CTEPH Surgery.
