Dr Sonya Babu-Narayan is a consultant adult congenital heart disease cardiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital, Reader at Imperial College London and associate medical director at the British Heart Foundation. She was awarded first class honours for her BSc by University College London where she also graduated in medicine. She has a PhD in congenital heart disease awarded by Imperial College London and has previously been awarded an AHA Outstanding Contribution to Paediatric Research Award. She has ESC accreditation in both general and also congenital heart disease cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR).
