Silvia Taralli graduated in 2008 as a medical doctor at the Sapienza University in Rome (Italy) and in 2014 as nuclear medicine physician at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, with a thesis dissertation on the diagnostic performance of 18F-FDG PET/CT in evaluating the undetermined solitary pulmonary nodule. Currently, she works as a nuclear medicine physician at the PET/CT Center of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS in Rome, and she is a referent of the Nuclear Medicine Unit for the institutional multidisciplinary Tumor board on Thoracic Oncology. She is a member of the AIMN (Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine) study group in Nuclear Oncology. From 2020, she is a PhD student in Experimental and Translational Medicine at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. Her main field of interest is PET/CT imaging in oncology, especially focused on lung cancer.
