Seray Hazer
Dr. Seray Hazer is a thoracic surgeon working at Ankara Atatürk Sanatoryum Training and Research Hospital in Turkey, where she has served as the Deputy Medical Director since 2018. She completed her medical training and residency in Thoracic Surgery at the same institution, obtaining her Associate Professor title in 2024. Her primary focus is on minimally invasive thoracic surgery, with special interests in lung cancer, mediastinal tumours, trachea-bronchi conditions, and pleural diseases.
In addition to her role as Deputy Medical Director, Dr. Hazer is dedicated to advancing the field through the application of innovative surgical techniques and technologies. She plays a significant role in training and mentoring residents in general thoracic surgery techniques and oncological thoracic surgery. Her contributions extend to both national and international studies concerning the medical and surgical treatment of lung and mediastinal tumours.
