Ruxandra-Iulia Milos
Dr. Milos obtained her medical degree from the Medical University of Timisoara, Romania, and pursued advanced training as a research fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians-University and the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where she also obtained her doctoral degree. She completed her training in Radiology at the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy at the Medical University of Vienna, where she has served as an attending radiologist since 2018. In September 2024, Dr. Milos joined the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Clinic Donaustadt, part of the Vienna Healthcare Group. Additionally, she maintains active collaboration with the Medical University of Vienna concerning clinical and academic activities. Since 2021, she has also served as deputy head of the Thoracic Radiology Working Group of the Austrian Radiological Society.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Milos has been actively engaged in clinical radiology, with a particular emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches to the diagnosis and management of thoracic diseases. She is dedicated to medical education, encompassing teaching medical students and mentoring junior doctors. Her research activities have included participation in projects designed to enhance diagnostic performance and to advance radiological techniques for thoracic imaging.
