Roberta Iacobelli
Born in Bari, Italy, Dr. Roberta Iacobelli received her medical degree from Bari University, Italy, in 1998. In 2002, she completed her fellowship in Cardiology as state-competition winner, and in 2006 she completed her PhD in Prenatal Medicine at University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome Italy. Since 2004 she has been working as Staff Cardiologist at Echo Lab in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Bambino Gesu’ Hospital Rome, Italy (2004-2016). Until present, she is working as Intensive Care Cardiologist in the PCICU of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Bambino Gesu’. Her personal skills and competence are: Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, 3D Echo, Fetal Echocardiography, Echocardiography in Ventricular Assist Device/ECMO patients, Echocardiographic monitoring in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. She has participated in many Clinical Trials as Sub-investigator (PTC Trial, GSK, etc), is ICH-GCP trained and is a first-author or co-author of more than 30 original and peer-reviewed publications. She has participated as invited speakers in many national and international conferences and meetings as an expert in CHD and MCS support in the pediatric population.
