Paul Diprose is a consultant cardiac anaesthetist and intensivist at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust. Following initial experience in surgery and emergency medicine he trained in anaesthesia in hospitals in the south of England and at the Green Lane cardiac unit in Auckland, New Zealand. He has been the lead for peri-operative echocardiography since his substantive consultant appointment in 2006. He was appointed as a medical panellist to the Medical Practitioner Tribunal service in 2012.
