Oscar Gonzalez Fernandez
Oscar Gonzalez Fernandez graduated in 2011 as a medical doctor at Autonoma University of Madrid. He completed his specialty in Cardiology in 2017 at University Hospital La Paz in Madrid, and performed a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant in 2018 at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. He also completed a masters degree in Research Methodology in Health Sciences in 2020, and a PhD in late right heart failure in ventricular assist devices in 2022. He currently works as a Consultant Cardiologist in Heart Transplantation and Advanced Heart Failure at the Freeman Hospital since 2022, and he is an Associate Clinical Lecturer in the Translational and Clinical Research Institute at the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Newcastle University.
