Monica Gianoli

Monica Gianoli, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon at UMC Utrecht, specializing in coronary revascularization and advanced heart failure surgical therapies. As a leading surgeon in the off-pump revascularization program at UMCU, she has extensive experience in beating heart coronary surgery. Since 2018, Dr. Gianoli has been at the forefront, leading the robotic minimally invasive coronary artery bypass operation program. Her current research focuses on the safety and feasibility of implementing advanced technologies in coronary revascularization, with a particular emphasis on closed-chest, multivessel, totally arterial procedures using robotic and connector device technology.
