Michel van Dyck is a cardiac anesthesiologist trained at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Brussels, Belgium. He has been in charge of the residency programme in anaesthesia at UCL since 2015. He developed a special interest in transoesophageal echocardiography and, after a training at the Mayo Clinic and certification in perioperative TOE, he helps cardiac surgeons of the Cliniques Universitaires St-Luc (Brussesl) in their daily meticulous work of aortic and mitral valve repair. His other interests are ventricular assist devices and education.
