Michael Erb is currently Head of Laboratory at SYNLAB pharma institute AG, Birsfelden, Switzerland. He is responsible for development and GMP conform validation and/or transfer of new potency assays, as well as batch release and stability testing of biopharmaceuticals. He was previously senior scientist at CSL Behring AG, Bern, Switzerland and Santhera Pharmaceuticals, Liestal, Switzerland. He undertook his Diploma Thesis in Developmental Biology at the Department of Zoology, University of Basel, Switzerland and his PhD Thesis in Neurobiology, University Hospital, Basel, Switzerland.
