Maja Vatavuk

Dr Maja Vatavuk is a cardiothoracic surgery resident from Croatia who has a particular interest in aortic root surgery and mechanical circulatory support.

She is an active member of Croatian Association  for Cardiac Surgery  with a strong interest in the medical education oriented towards excellence and quality.

During her residency, dr Vatavuk became a first-ever Croatian National Trainee Representative  with particular emphasis on identifying issues in training and facilitating education of cardiothoracic surgery residents.
