Hanneke Takkenberg

Hanneke Takkenberg is professor of Clinical Decision Making in Cardio-Thoracic Interventions at the Department of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery in the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, NL. Her research focuses on prognostic modeling, microsimulation, and shared decision making in heart valve disease and congenital heart disease, with special emphasis on male-female differences. She is co-founder and past president of the Heart Valve Society.
