Jennifer Beckman is a nurse practitioner at the Division of Cardiology, University of Washington in Seattle, specialising in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. Her research interests are focused on outcome improvement for patients with advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree and Family Nurse Practitioner training at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is certified by the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. She currently co-chairs the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Council at University of Washington and serves on the Board of Directors of the International Consortium of Circulatory Assistant Clinicians.
