Dr Jane Stevens studied medicine at Manchester University, and specialised in malignant haematology. With 20 years experience in the NHS, it became apparent to her that even the best physician was unable to excel if working in a failing system. A need to understand the challenges facing the healthcare sector led her into clinical leadership within the NHS, and to take a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). In 2016, she stepped down from her role as divisional director for Cancer and Clinical Support in a large acute Trust in London to prepare for a Doctorate in Organisational Change at Ashridge Hult Business School, where she is an Associate.
