Jan Knierim is a consultant cardiologist and Head of the Cardio-Thoracic Surgery Outpatient Department at the German Heart Center Berlin. He graduated from the Humboldt University, Berlin in 2002 and completed his clinical training in Internal Medicine in 2008 and Cardiology in 2011. His main interests are advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation and cardiovascular imaging.
