Professor Dr Ingo Dähnert is Director of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology, University of Leipzig. Since 2011 he has also been Co-chairman of the supra-regional center for grown-up patients with congenital heart disease at the Heart Center Leipzig. Ingo graduated from medical school in 1987 and undertook residency in Pediatrics at the University of Leipzig. He completed his postgraduate training in Transcatheter Intervention and in GUCH Medicine at the German Heart Center, Berlin. He has been an nvestigator or co-investigator in numerous observational and interventional (drugs and devices ) clinical trials.
