Henrik Fox graduated in 2006 as a medical doctor at Ulm University after returning from Tufts University in Boston, MA, USA. In 2012 he obtained board certification for internal medicine at Frankfurt university hospital and became a board-certified cardiologist in 2015 at Herz und Diabeteszentrum NRW in Bad Oeynhausen. He authored multiple scientific peer-reviewed research articles in the field of heart failure and is fellow of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology. He is a member of the Medical Faculty of Ruhr-University in Bochum and in his current position co-chairs the interdisciplinary heart failure department at Herz und Diabeteszentrum NRW in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, for heart failure, including the field of transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
