Guido Tavazzi, graduate in 2008 at University of Pavia, specialised in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia in 2014. He has made a PhD in heart-lung interaction in extracorporeal support between University of Pavia and Royal Brompton Hospital, London UK. He is currently a consultant in ICU and assistant professor in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Department of clinical-surgical, diagnostic and pediatric sciences, University of Pavia, Italy. He is chair of the Research Section of European Society of Cardiology-Acute cardiovascular care association and part of the Committed of The European Diploma in echocardiography of European society of intensive care medicine. His area of expertise are: Cardiogenic shock, echocardiography, mechanical circulatory support, right ventricular function and acute cardiac care
