Gianclaudo Mecozzi

Gianclaudo Mecozzi is currently Head of the aortic surgery programme at the University Hospital, Groningen, The Netherlands since 2016. He previously worked for several years the Thoraxcentrum, Enschede, The Netherlands.
Gianclaudo’s main fields of interest are myocardial off-pump and on-pump revascularisation; heart valve replacement and repair; surgery of thoracic aorta; minimally invasive cardiac surgery; valve sparing aortic surgery; and aortic valve repair.
He has co-authored many articles and chapters and is a member of several European associations including EACTS, NVT, ISMICS and SHDV.
