Francesca D’Auria

Francesca D’Auria graduated in 2009 as a medical doctor at the Campus Bio – Medico University of Rome. In 2014 she obtained her PhD in robotic surgery and she completed her residency program in cardiac and vascular surgery in 2017. In 2021 she obtained her master degree in health economics and hospital management. In 2022 she completed her advanced university course in public health and healthcare organization and management. After finishing her residency in cardiac surgery, Francesca completed her training focused on endovascular aortic repair and minimally invasive surgery. Currently, she is cardiovascular Surgeon at the University Hospital San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d’Aragona in Salerno and adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Salerno. Her areas of interest are echocardiography, minimally invasive coronary and heart valve surgery, complex endovascular thoracoabdominal surgery, preventive cardiovascular medicine, and mentoring. She is actively committed to the recognition of meritocracy and full gender equality in the world of work and in civil society.
