Professor of Cell Therapy Dirk Strunk, is currently Head of the Cell Therapy Institute, Paracelsus Medical University (PMU) and Director of the Flow Cytometry Core Facility, Salzburg, Austria. He began as a resident physician at the Charité Dermatology Clinic, Berlin, Germany and trained as a medical specialist in Immunology at the General Hospital (AKH) Vienna, the Vienna International Research Cooperation Center (VIRCC), Medical University of Vienna, and the Institute of Pathophysiology, Medical University of Graz (MUG).
Over the last 20 years Professor Strunk has specalised in and researched stem cell transplantation and cell therapy.
