Christopher Lambers

Christopher Lambers obtained his master degree in Internal Medicine in 2008 and in Pneumology 2013, both at the department for pneumology at the Medical University Vienna, Austria. In the same year he became a member of the lung transplantation program (Head: Prof. Walter Klepetko) at the Department for Thoracic Surgery at the Medical University Vienna. He reached the position as Associate Professor in 2018. Since 2020, he is the Head of the Department of Pneumolgy at the Ordensklinikum LINZ/ Elisabethinen in Linz, Austria. His area of interest is the treatment of (pre-post) lungtransplant patients, pulmonary oncology and interventional bronchoscopy with the main focus on navigational bronchoscopy for complex lesions and small nodules.
