Carolin Lindner studied Biology and Experimental and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Regensburg. In 2013, she received her PhD at the Institute of Molecular Regenerative Medicine, Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg/Department of Molecular Biology, Paris-Lodron University of Salzburg. Since 2013 she has been working at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology, Vienna/Linz in the adipose tissue team, where she focuses on the effects of extracorporeal shock wave therapy on stem cell properties and functionality and the underlying mechanosensitive mechanisms.
