Carmelina Cristina Zirafa

Carmelina Cristina Zirafa graduated in 2007 as a medical doctor at the University of Pisa (Italy) and completed the specialization in “Thoracic Surgery” in 2014. She obtained her Phd degree in “Clinical Physiology” in 2018. Her activity is focused on lung cancer, mediastinal lesion, pleural tumour and minimally invasive surgery, with particular attention to robotic surgery and advanced technology.

She works in the University Hospital of Pisa, in the Unit of Minimally invasive and Robotic Thoracic surgery of Robotic Multispeciality Center for Surgery.
