Bettina Pfannmueller is a cardiac surgeon at the Heart Center Leipzig, Germany. After finishing her training in cardiac surgery at the Cardiovascular Center in Bad Neustadt/Saale, Germany, she went to the Heart Center Leipzig and completed her training with a fellowship for minimally invasive mitral valve surgery with Professor Friedrich-Wilhelm Mohr. Since 2011, she is a consultant at the Heart Center Leipzig. Her research and publications focus is on the mitral and tricuspid valve.
