Benedikt Reutersberg graduated in medicine from the Technical University of Munich in 2011. He completed his training as a vascular surgeon at Klinikum rechts der Isar and Deutsches Herzzentrum in Munich, as well as at St. Mary’s Hospital of Imperial College Health Care Trust in London. He became a board-certified vascular surgeon in Germany in 2017 and earned the European Board Certificate in Vascular Surgery (FEBVS) in 2018. He is currently deputy director of the Department of Vascular Surgery at the University Hospital Zurich. His areas of interest are complex endovascular and open aortic surgery (aortic arch, thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections) and venous diseases.
