Bart van Putte received his medical degree from the University of Antwerp, Belgium in 2002 and his PhD from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands in 2003. Bart is a cardiothoracic surgeon at the St Antonius hospital, The Netherlands and Principal investigator at the AMC Heart Center, Amsterdam.
