Anno Diegeler is the Chief of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the Heart and Cardiovascular Centre Bad Neustadt, Germany. He received his PhD in 1999 from the University of Leipzig and Professor of Surgery in 2004 at the same institute. Anno won the Ernst-Derra-Award of the German Society of Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery in 2001 and is a scientific board member of the German Heart Foundation.
