Andrea Salica received his MD degree at “La Sapienza University of Rome” in 2000. He trained in Cardiac Surgery at Catholic University of Rome, Gemelli Hospital, Italy, obtaining his postgraduate degree in Cardiac Surgery in 2005. Since 2006, Andrea works as Cardiac Surgeon at European Hospital of Rome. He has performed over 150 open heart operations per year including minimally invasive mitral valve repair, off pump no touch aorta CABG, total aortic arch replacement. He started his aortic valve sparing training in 2017 with Prof. Ruggero De Paulis.
