Ahmed Ashoub

Ahmed Ashoub graduated in 2004 as a medical doctor at Cairo University , Egypt. In 2008 he obtained his master’s degree in cardiac surgery. After finishing his residency in cardiac surgery, Ahmed completed his training focused on aortic surgery and total arterial revascularisation coronary artery bypass surgery. He obtained his PhD in minimal invasive cardiac surgery in 2013. Currently, he is a consultant cardiac and heart & lung transplant surgeon at Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham. His areas of interest are total arterial & OPCAB coronary surgery, carcinoid heart disease surgery and heart & lung transplant.
