Veronica Lorenz

Veronica Lorenz graduated in 2010 as a medical doctor at the Università degli Studi di Siena. In 2023 she graduated as cardiac surgeon at the same university, after spending her surgical training between Italy and Belgium (at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc). After finishing her residency in cardiac surgery, Veronica is now completing her training at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels. In 2024 she is a candidate selected by the Fund for Scientific Research – FNRS (F.R.S.- FNRS) for a PhD fellowship with a thesis oriented to improve surgical planning and standardization of aortic valve repair and Ross operation. Her areas of interest are aortic surgery, valve repair and minimal invasive techniques.
