Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy Fellowship

Pulmonary thromboendarterectomy is a difficult operation under deep hypothermic circulatory arrest. It is not commonly done and only a few centres and a few surgeons dominate the technique and the indications. The best way to initiate a programme is to mimic the technique and the protocols of an expert centre.
