The global burden of infective endocarditis is increasing, from 478,000 cases in 1990 to 1,090,530 cases in 2019. In this session our Expert Speaker will give an extensive overview, from the pathophysiology and symptoms to different surgical strategies.When do surgeons opt for valve repair or valve replacement? After this session, attendees will have a comprehensive understanding of the multiple facets of infective endocarditis.
