Arjen Stam (MD, MSc) is currently a senior resident in Clinical Microbiology from the University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands. In his younger years he followed an international education and lived in the Netherlands, Luxemburg, Peru and Spain. From 2004-2007 he studied Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University College Utrecht where he obtained his cum laude Bachelor’s degree. Subsequently he was selected for the Selective Utrecht Medical Master where he studied medicine from 2007-2012. He obtained his medical degree in 2012. In 2012 he started the residency program of Clinical Microbiology. In the beginning of 2018 he will be a medical specialist.
