Dipak Kotecha is a clinician scientist at the University of Birmingham, UK, a consultant cardiologist specialising in cardiac imaging, and a Fellow of the National Institute of Health Research and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). His research interests focus on heart failure and atrial fibrillation. He is a Task Force Member of the ESC Guidelines on Atrial Fibrillation and the ESC Education Committee, and the global lead for the Beta-blockers in Heart Failure Collaborative Group.
