Morten Helvind has been the head of the department for Congenital Heart Surgery at Rigshospitalet, University Hospital of Copenhagen, Denmark since 2000. He did his adult cardiac surgery training in Umea, Sweden, and his training in congenital heart surgery in Copenhagen and at the Cleveland Clinic. Morten’s main interests are surgery in the neonate and in adults with congenital heart disease.
