Quality Improvement Programme Committee
To work with hospitals, national societies, and organisations towards a global culture of data collection to create a European wide repository of information on the practice of cardiothoracic surgery as a tool for quality improvement. The QUIP Committee oversees the two international registry and databases, the EUROMACS Registry (for patients with Mechanical Circulatory Support) and the Adult Cardiac Database, a benchmarking platform for the collection of cardiac surgical data across Europe.
