Anna Mara Scandroglio

Mara Scandroglio, MD is the head of the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and of the advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program of IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy. Her clinical and scientific activities are focused on critically ill patients affected by advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and severe respiratory failure and on the use of extracorporeal life supports, especially ECMO and ventricular assist devices.
