Sulayman el Mathari

Sulayman el Mathari graduated in 2020 as a medical doctor at the University of Amsterdam. During his first months as a resident in Cardiothoracic surgery, he was awarded a PhD scholarship at the Amsterdam University Medical Center. His doctoral research focused on optimizing cardiac surgery outcomes through advanced imaging technologies, including 4D-flow MRI, 3D LGE MRI, and extended reality. After completing his PhD, Sulayman began his residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam in 2024.
