Jaswinder Gill
Prof Gill qualified in Medicine from the University of Cambridge and trained in Birmingham and London. He was appointed consultant cardiologist to Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals and set up the electrophysiology department. He is Professor of Cardiology at King’s College, London. He has been faculty member for many international meetings including the Heart Rhythm Society, European Heart Rhythm Society, Asian Pacific Heart Rhythm Society, British Cardiac Society and British Heart Rhythm Society. He has a lectured at many international meetings and courses. He has been reviewer for several specialist electrophysiology journals including Heart Rhythm, Circulation, JCE, International Journal of Cardiology. He had been is associated editor of Frontiers in Electrophysiology. He has over 200 peer reviewed publications and several chapters in books and is co-author of in book. He lead the team which performed the first hybrid AF ablations and instituted Convergent procedure for AF ablation in the UK. He was involved with the Converge IDE study is currently involved with the ongoing Converge PAS study. His interest is understanding the mechanisms of maintenance of persistent AF and the methods and results of ablating this arrhythmia.
