Peter Kneuertz

Dr. Peter Kneuertz is a thoracic surgeon, with board certification in both general and thoracic surgery. He is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, specializing in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Kneuertz’s clinical practice focuses on the surgical treatment of thoracic malignancies including lung cancer, esophageal cancer and mediastinal tumors. His research is directed towards improving patient-centered care, through critically evaluating and expanding the applications of minimally invasive techniques, such as robotic and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, and the study of patient reported outcomes.
