Tine Philipsen

Dr. Tine Philipsen is a cardiac surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive heart surgery, mechanical circulatory support (including ventricular assist devices), and heart transplantation. Dr. Philipsen completed her medical studies at the University of Antwerp in Belgium and went on to specialize in cardiac surgery during her residency. Dr. Philipsen has held positions at both the University Hospital Antwerp and the University Hospital Ghent, where she currently practices as a cardiac surgeon. Her commitment to improving patient outcomes and surgical skills has made her a valuable member of the Adult Cardiac Database Task Force since 2017.
