Maria Grandinetti graduated in 2011 as a medical doctor at the Università degli Studi di Siena. In 2017 graduated as a cardiac surgeon at the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” in Rome. After finishing her residency in cardiac surgery, Maria completed her training focused on adult cardiac surgery, congenital heart disease, valve heart disease and heart failure at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Toulouse, at the “Policlinico San Donato” in Milan and at the “Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù” in Rome. Currently, she is cardiac surgeon at Cardiac Surgery Unit at the Fondazione Policlinico A. Gemelli in Rome and she cooperates in GUCH program with Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù. Her areas of interest are heart valve and coronary surgery and adult congenital heart surgery.
