Natividad Cuende, degree of MD and PhD, is specialist on Family and Community Medicine as well as on Preventive Medicine and Public Health after 6 years as resident physician at different hospitals. She is the Deputy Director of the Andalusian Transplant Coordination since 2005 and previously she worked at the National Transplant Organization for over 7 years. Dr. Cuende is the Director of the International Master in Manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products of the University of Granada/Andalusian Initiative for Advanced Therapies. She designed and managed the Andalusian Initiative for Advanced Therapies since its creation in 2008 by the Regional Government of Andalusia until April 2019. She participates on several scientific committees and in multiple expert working groups related to advanced therapies and transplants (was the Chair of the European Legal and Regulatory Affairs Committee of the International Society for Cell and Gene Therapy from 2014 to 2019) and has published more than 150 scientific and technical publications
