Mario Petrou is a consultant cardiac surgeon at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. He was the Programme Head for Complex Aortic Surgery in Oxford until 2019. His sub-specialty interests include complex aortic root surgery (Ross procedure, homografts, VSRR, PEARS), aortic valve cusp repair techniques, mitral and tricuspid vale repair and aortic arch surgery.
