Professor Jean-Philippe Verhoye is Head of Cardiac and Vascular Thoracic Surgery at Rennes University Hospital, France. He is Vice President of the French Society of Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery and Secretary of the French College of Cardiac Surgery. He is a Post-Doctoral Fellow of Stanford University and is known for his mastery of thoracic aortic surgery and the implication of the evolution of imaging in the practice of modern surgery. He is the organiser of the European and Francophone Masterclass of this specialty and is author of various books on the evolution of pathologies of the aorta. He regularly performs minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery.
